Looking for O'CONNELL in South Africa

In the early 1820's a large party of families came from Kerry, Ireland to South Africa. They consisted of the O'Connell family and Eagers, among others. There were two brothers, John who settled in Oudtshoorn and Michael who became a prominent merchant in George. Their mother Elizabeth O'Connell (nee Ross) who had been married to Dr. Geoffrey O'Connell lived with Michael and his sister Annie, in George.
We believe Dr. Geoffrey O'Connell died in Kerry around 1812 and he has become our brick wall.
